Winter, Survival Horror Buried In The Winter?

Very often, good games get axed because there is no decent publisher to push these titles out to the streets. One such gem, Winter, a survival horror genre from n-Space (Call of Duty DS), may not see the living daylights as the title has not found a willing game publisher.

Winter sees a young woman stranded in a small town in a snowstorm. Perfect setting for a horror story but not so perfect for a publisher to accept it (unless you are Resident Evil). Publishers may think a dark element in a Wii game will not sell but look at Red Steel, RE 4, and upcoming Sega titles such as MadWorld and The Conduit. These games are either cash machines or highly anticipated. These reasons are enough to give Winter a chance to be published.

You can chip in your effort by signing the Winter petition to make the publishers hear your desire for Winter.
