Wisconsin Ousts “McCain Friendly” Delegate.
Last week the Wisconsin Democratic Party’s administrative committee voted to dismiss Debra Bartoshevich as a Wisconsin Delegate for the upcoming Democratic Convention later this month.
Bartoshevich, who was elected as a delegate for Hillary Clinton, gained notoriety after Barack Obama became the party’s “presumptive nominee” by stating, publicly (to a newspaper) that if Hillary Clinton were not the nominee, she would be voting for John McCain in November.
Such statements were in violation of the “pledge of intent” each Democratic delegate takes – and thus led to her formal removal.
It never ceases to amaze me that year after year Americans, primarily European- American find some excuse to vote against their own interests. They vote for Republicans who cynically manipulate them, lie to them, and toss them aside like easy lays the morning after,
Debra should know better from her high school days: once you put out guys never respect you and it’s never really okay.
I refuse to believe that Democrats are this self destructive. If we blow it this time I submit for a mass exodus to a new party. “Yellow Dog” Democrats
