WNBA names Leslie, McCarville players of the week
Janel McCarville and Lisa Leslie were selected as the WNBA’s players of the week Monday.
The New York Liberty star topped the East with 18 ppg and 5 rebounds and dimes per game. A cool little point from WNBA.com is this is McCarville’s first POW while the left coast version this week brings home No. 15.
Lisa Leslie of the Los Angeles Sparks scored more than 17 points per, swatted 4 blocks per and hauled down nearly 10 rebounds a game.
