WNBA preseason kicks off tonight

A depleted new Seattle Storm roster will take the court Wednesday evening to begin the 2008 WNBA preseason against the Chicago Sky. Both teams bring new coaches to the sidelines (Seattle with former San Antonio Silver Stars assistant coach Brian Agler and Chicago with Steve Key, recently promoted from assistant coach after the not-so-subtle departure of Bo Overton).

Lauren Jackson, Sue Bird and Swin Cash are not expected to be with the team, but let’s face it, this is where we get to see the beginning of Sylvia Fowles’ career. Hopefully, we see her for more than 20 minutes.
