  13. Amy Tucker says:

Finally! Someone respects my genius. ;)

  14. jason says:

you’re just another LOW LIFE in the world who wants attention

  15. Amy Tucker says:

Well, that’s a tad bit harsh.

    Don’t you think?

  16. AJ says:

These are really neat, as for the guy calling you a low life, he is just jealous (or maybe deprived of having Legos as a child)…

  17. dan says:

My kids love legos and games what a great way to mix them both.

  18. LearnToSpell says:

The plural of Lego is Lego, not “legos”, you retards. You don’t say, there were three sheeps in the field, do you. No. Same thing with Lego.

  19. Amy Tucker says:

“The word ‘LEGO’, when used as a noun, should only refer to the company that makes the product. Otherwise ‘LEGO’ is supposed to be used as an adjective. Thus, when referring to the pieces, neither ‘lego’ nor ‘legos’ is correct… rather one should say: ‘LEGO bricks’ or ‘LEGO pieces’ or whatever (using LEGO as an adjective — and one should really capitalize all of the letters, and put the little ‘circle-R’ symbol after it (®)). This is all a matter of protecting the trademark of ‘LEGO’ for the company (using it otherwise degenerates the strength of the trademark)”

Quoted from Eric Harshbarger’s LEGO® Website.

  20. ulises says:

Lovely, but in the mortal combat lego, he still has remaining life and already suffer a fatality

  21. Bryan says:

Amy, hats off to you. The effort and details behind these scenes are amazing. Ignore the jerk-wads who have nothing better to do with their time than post anonymous drivel. Your work does, in fact, rule!

What I find extremely funny: Johnny Cage looks pretty happy about exposing his spine. Again, kudos!

  22. jennifer says:

I just love it!! Mario is my fave game and to see it portrayed like this is awesome. Happy WW!

  23. Pretty sure this is someone that everyone in the world has a place in their heart for.
If not, maybe they need to re-evaluate their heart!

  24. Oops, that should have read “someTHING”, not “someONE”

  25. Yog Sabbaoth says:

    Yeah dude, this is awesome!!!
I love legos! That’s very well done!

  26. dan says:

i wish i had time to read all the blogs i want to read. i forgot about the very cool lego blogs out there. very nice post.

  27. houen says:

Hunny how the guy who blames you for wanting attention, does so on a comment field on the internet?!? Yep, you’re the one wnating attention :o) Silly bugger – Mario is for the people. Mario FTW. Cool site Amy!

  28. Nick says:

The best part of all of these has got to be the Mortal Kombat audience. That detail won me over.

  29. Fabio Fiss says:

    Hi Amy! Awesome work!
My favorite has to be the LEGO Duckhunt

    Well done!

  30. peter says:

mortal kombat is actually contra dum-dum

  31. cliff says:

I completely marked out when I saw the Castlevania reconstruction. Stage 1 Boss. All that’s missing is the hidden II block. :)

  32. peter says:

    woops im dumb

  33. Roland says:

Very well done. The attention to detail is remarkable.

  34. Planner says:

I love lego, seems there’s no end to what you can make out of it!

  35. SD says:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/skinnycoder/

Are you really Skinnycoder? If not, stop taking credit for his work. These are from at least a year ago.

  36. Amy Tucker says:

SD – Before you posted that flickr link, I had never heard of Skinnycoder as I did not find these photos on his flickr page.

I know for a fact that the first image came from:
    http://www.urbanretrolifestyle.com/tag/nintendo/page/2/

As for the rest, they could have come from any myriad of sites.

However, since it does appear that Skinnycoder is the original source, then I’ll add a citation pointing to his flickr page.

AND, just for the record, I never “took credit” for making the great pieces, I only showcased them and forgot to site my sources.

    Cheers.

  37. SD says:

My apologies if I came off as rude. It just sounded like you were taking some credit in a few of the above comments.

  38. Amy Tucker says:

Now I officially want to give you a hug.

You were completely right about me needing to site my sources and I’m glad that you pointed it out.

I’m usually anal about that kind of stuff. Not sure what happened that day.

  39. Great art.
This kind of craft is surely good for the hands and imagination.
I think this Lego is a very eco-friendly tool, because it can be reused very many times.

  40. Amanda says:

bitchin’. I am impressed and want to make some myself now. :P

  41. kk says:

    hey that’s funny XDDD

  42. James says:

    Amy,

I totally loved the Castlevaia one! Thanks for sharing!
