We are moving into vacation season. I know you would love to get away for a moment, a day. How about a week? Italy anyone? If you could go one place and money was no object or issue, where would you go? Share your dream vacation. Have a great day today!
hi I live in Italy so yes for me it will be a break in the mountains near Como. Not so easy to travel in summer here airlines full or striking.
We lived near Florence for 4 years. Take a look at our recent trip to Ischia Italy It may inspire you. http://www.italyexpat.blogspot.com
Hi Donna! Thanks for stopping by this morning. I will check out your blog on Italy later when I am home. Thanks for sending the link. Have a great day! Happy WW!
Hi Maddy! Thanks for stopping by today. I love Bastille Day. Today is my birthday and as long as I can remember I always say that the French are celebrating my birthday on Bastille Day!! What a great day!

Beautiful picture! I would love to go back to Italy. It’s my favorite place to be! I would also love to visit Greece, I haven’t been there yet.
My SIL is in Florence right now. I’m loving the pictures she’s sending us and REALLY want to go see it all for myself.
With gas prices as high as they are, I’m all about the “staycation” this summer.

Hi Gina,
Thank you for stopping by Interview Chatter. I love your new word, “staycation”. I may have to use it! Thanks for sharing!
I was lucky enough to spend 6 weeks in Italy a few (okay a few +) years ago – and there is still so much more to see.
However, as it is Bastille Day, I wish that I were on the Champs Elysee – amidst all the blue white and red.
