Actually What Bob Byrnes said was quite accurate. The only thing inaccurate that I have seen in all this is that this has all happened over time. Like Any older property it was in need of a renovation. But under Lodgian Corp, Guest Service Scores were up, morale was up, revenue was up. It was an all around better place. If something was wrong it was fixed. If we owed a bill it was paid. And not once did any one of us have to worry about our hrs being correct or our checks bouncing. These problems right now have been caused by Kronos since June 15, 2007 when they purchased the property. When they purchased it they were given a PIP (Property Improvement Plan) that stated all the renovations and faulty equipment and anything else that needed done. They knew what they were getting, they chose not to do it. Had lodgian corp not found a buyer I can guarantee you that property would have gotten a renovation and it would have been done long by now. So lets not discount someone word based on a personal bias or whatever other reasons are behind it. If facts are incorrect lets correct them. But lets not try to ruin someones credibility when 99.9% of what is being said is truth.

And they have started and stopped renovations several times not sure of the exact amount spent but can say that none of the people that performed any of the "rennovations" got paid therefore the hotel is half completed. The place was in need of a facelift before Lodgian sold it but was a beautiful propety because it was well maintained. All that went out the window when Kronos took over.

So what is the real story?

Will you and your husband share the real story?
Post a comment here:

Wasn't this place heading downhill even before Lodgian sold out to Kronos?

Seems hard to believe that they put $2M into this place, like they said in the paper. What's your take?

You really should not go on the word of one Bob Byrnes considering he was there a total of 2 months I am an ex employee of the hotel and yes shit has gotten bad but anything he has to say about it has no bearing well unless its something he read in one of his papers considering thats all he did while he was there. If you want the full story you should try my husband he is the one that got this investigation started.

An interesting find. I love the fresh baked bread the woman is holding. They look wooden (are they?) -- and huge (a little scary).
