Works for Me Wednesday

I’m participating in a new meme, “Works for Me Wednesday.” This meme is for moms (and dads) and we all share a fun, useful tip about – anything!

Todays tip: Stockpiling school supplies. Back to school has come and gone, and now we are seeing all kinds of clearance priced school supplies such as notebook paper, pens, spiral notebooks, glue, etc. When you see these items marked down to rock-bottom prices, grab some of them and create a school supply cabinet at home. My kids can just get what they need when they run out of something. Mine is full of composition notebooks that were 1 cent at Rite-Aid, packages of pens that were free at Walgreens after rebate, and rulers that I bought for 5 cents at office depot. If your cabinet gets too full, you can donate items to the school – they will always take them!
