World Basketball Championship Winners

The US competed against Argentina for the bronze while it was Greece and Spain who battled for the gold.

After quite a stir, which Greece made when they beat the US in the semi-final, it’s Spain who takes home the top prize in the end. The US won the bronze but it still wasn’t enough to alleviate the mood of disappointed fans who expected a lot. They blamed it on arrogance.

So, I extend my congratulations to:

• USA – Third Place [Bronze]
