World of Warcraft VISA Card

I almost thought this was a joke, but I guess not. Indeed, Blizzard Entertainment has announced the World of Warcraft VISA card: “The Card That Pays You To Play.” Well, nothing wrong with that.
Here are some of the benefits of the WoW Card:
- Earn Gametime with purchases: accrue WoW gametime at the rate of 1% of every dollar spent on “qualifying purchases.”
- Receive a month of WoW the first time you use it
- Introductory 0% APR: Variable rates after the introductory period are as low as 9.99%
- No Annual Fee
I’m very curious to see how popular this WoW VISA card idea becomes. All the same, if you’re interested, click here to apply.
I wonder if you get banned if you use the WoW card to buy gold. Hm.

If they really wanted to make a killing, they’d let you accrue gold instead of gametime when you made purchases. That’d just be obscene.
LMAO I wonder how well that’s gonna go over.
The problem with being able to accrue gold instead of gametime, though, is that it would introduce a class divide into the game. Richer players who used their credit cards more often would get more gold, and be advantaged in the game as well.

I didn’t mean they should really implement it, I was just being silly. And cursing my lack of 5200g for an epic flying mount ;P
rofl you nerd :P

“Complete details, including restrictions, limitations, and exclusions, will be available when you become a Cardmember.”

read the fine print my friends and dont fall for crap like this…
You really think that sumones gonna just give you free wow play time?? of course not!! they will be getting much more out of you, than you get out of them
That’s how credit cards work, after all. Instead of using these as payment modes, I stick to game cards. ;)
I think the only benefit you’d get from the WoW credit card is the bragging rights among fellow gamers. It’s not going to give you brownie points when you whip it out during a date though. **cough NERD cough**.
