Congratulations to Blizzard and the entire World of Warcraft team. Their MMORPG has hit 5 million users worldwide! That’s quite the amazing accomplishment, considering the game has only been out for a bit over a year.
Ah, I do remember my obsession with this game. I recall the trip to EB during my lunch break to pick up my pre-ordered Collector’s Edition. I remember listening to the soundtrack in the car, while my friend/co-worker – who’d also picked up his Collector’s Edition – and I tried to swallow some Burger King food in the parking lot cause we were already late in getting back to work. I remember seeing two guys in the street also walking around with their Collector’s Editions tucked away in their bags.
It was a happy day.
What was my point? Oh yeah, congrats, Blizz. I promise I’ll get back to playing soon. I miss my sexy Night Elf. I’m still trying to master that dance in RL. It’s harder than it looks.

Ahh yes. I remember those first days when the starter points for the races were so crowded you could barely find an animal to kill for your quests. Then the big race for 60 was on and I realized that I didn’t really care.
Ahh yes. Fond memories indeed.
Those were the days! Chewy, lvl 59 rogue, is still burning the torch for the Order of Akasha!
I’m 1/5000000 Now? I just keep getting smaller *sobs*
