WoW! Six Million

For those of you keeping count, World of Warcraft subscribers have now reached 6 million. It was near the end of December when Blizzard announced that their MMO had reached 5 million, and two months later, they’re up by 1. That’s quite the growth spurt in two months!

Congrats – once again – to Blizzard.

Does anyone even play EQ2?

From early March of last yest until January 11th of 2007, World of Warcraft has somehow managed to suck even more people into the colourful virtual void. Up 2 million subscribers this year, the game that everyone keeps waiting to plateau shows no signs of slowing, and with the impending release of The Burning Crusade expansion pack, the number could grow by leaps and bounds yet again.
