WWDC Conversation Equals Free Mac Software

So WWDC starts tomorrow. I am pretty psyched about the possibilities of what could be coming. But the best part, I think, of being a part of the Apple Community is that we can get excited together.
Over the next week, we are running a contest on The After Mac. We are going to give away 2 licenses to TextExpander. I wrote a post last week about how great TextExpander is. (Writing about it has actually gotten me using it more, and surprisingly, the more you use it, the more useful it becomes.) Jean from over at Smile On My Mac gave me two licenses to give away and I thought WWDC (a second Christmas for Mac fans) would be a good time to give away some extra presents prizes.
So here are the rules:
- Only on topic comments will be counted as entries.
- Use your name and email address. Anonymous comments won’t count.
- Apple fanatics can sometimes cause disagreements. That’s ok. Just keep it civil.
So keep your eyes open for new posts as the details emerge from this year’s WWDC. Be a part of the conversation and get a shot at one of two licenses for the amazing TextExpander.

ok, so i just made the switch and am curious what the wwdc is? ive been seeing it all over the threads. and why do they call it the mac christmas? =)
WWDC is the Apple World Wide Developer’s Conference. Besides Macworld (January) it is the key event each year when new products and upcoming Apple ideas are presented. The keynote is going on today and the event will last the next few days.
In theory, the new iPhone, the reinvented .mac service, and possibly a new computer and/or OS will be announced today.
I didn’t get that many new presents at Christmas, so this is definitely like my kids Christmas for me.
well i hope they don’t rename the .mac service coz i dont like the mobileme idea. it just doesnt sound right.
well, unfortunately they have renamed .mac to Mobile Me. I do think Mobile Me better represents what it does, but combined with the new graphic it looks very childlike.
