WWE Releases Sabu, Others

This has been a big week for the WWE in terms of releases as 4 superstars have been released from the company. Most notable among the releases was Sabu who has been active on the ECW brand including the “ECW Originals” vs. “New Breed” Feud. Like all of the releases it appears to have come on good terms with the WWE who wished him good luck in his future projects. Rumors currently point towards him going to TNA and becoming an immediate draw assuming RVD doesn’t come to terms on a contract with the WWE, is released, and heads to TNA.

Other WWE releases this week are the dress wearing SmackDown! superstar Vito, Charles Scaggs (Too Cold Scorpio), and Rob Conway. All of the released wrestlers are said to be taking indy bookings to continue their wrestling careers for the time being.
