WWII again, for the 8th time

When I first saw this article I thought to myself
“OH neat. An add-on….Wait. Medal of Honor. Which one do I have? Bf..no..Is it Medal of Honor? No no. Ohh right. Call of Duty.” I know it was an important time in our history, and I’m glad we’ve all gotten to re-live it and see what our grandfathers went through but damn. Let it go folks. It’s getting old. It has been. Sure the games are fun, but put them in space or something. Give them some aliens to fight. Make them all robots. I don’t know. WWII is over. We’ve now re-lived it. Re-fought it. Re-done it. And re-made it. Just…shoo. The WWII bucket is getting a little dry.

Your ability to determine your own starting point dramatically changes the way each mission plays out. View the entire operation from the air, and then control your parachute to choose your landing spot.

While I admit that does have kind of a neat sound to it, I immediately pictured myself giggling laughing as I plummeted to my death refusing to pull the chute rip cord. Not sure why I found that funny. Anyways, maybe they’ll take all these new ideas and innovations in gameplay that they’re doing so the WWII games don’t get boring and finally stick them into other storylines(And I don’t mean Vietnam…or WWI)non-war games and make good use of it.
