The Xbox 360 will be hitting the Indian market anytime before 21st October this year. 21st October is Diwali or festival of lights, the period when many employees will be getting annual bonuses and spend some serious cash. Therefore, Microsoft is taking this opportunity to launch the 360 and cash in sales.
The Xbox 360 package for India will comprise of a game and a controller and going for 19,990 rupees (US$439).

It is estimated there are 1.6 million gamers in India who spend at least 2 hours playing everyday.
Is time to forget about Japan and head for India, Mr. 360.
