Watching the Le Tour de France is a family event in our home. We are a French-Canadian family with roots in France (my husband even biked through France for two years before we were married) and it’s always wonderful to see the different cities, towns and landscapes as the cyclists make their way through each leg.
Now we can also enjoy some of the action in our own living room! The official simulation game for the world’s most famous cycling race is now available for download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
In Le Tour de France 2009, you will be able to choose from 18 teams as you make your way through the 21 official legs while you fight for the coveted jerseys.
Up to four players can race side-by-side on LIVE Arcade – will you be the one standing on top of the podium?
Please note that this game requires the Xbox 360 hard drive or 512 MB memory unit for storage.

My daughter was playing with my controller and accidently bought this game i was mad but thought what the hell ill play it after 1 min of this game i felt like i was gang raped i never felt so violated in my life this guys should just kill themselves for making a worst game than E.T for the Atari system they should just kill themselves
Pepemunoz2003 – what made you feel gang raped in a game about cycling? Is it really that bad?
There was not 1 oz of fun in this game i tried to play it again and give it a 2nd chance but i realized i would rather get kicked in the nuts by a NFL punter.
Admittedly not the best game ever made. Ok so as games go its not good however to get those ounces of fun you kinda have to be a cycling nerd (not a lot of options in that category). If you are one of those nerds I recommend pro cycling manager 2009 same idea but much nicer presentation.
Does anyone know if you can play this game (tour de france) while on a stationary bicycle???? so that it actually feels like you are cycling??
Hmmmm… unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think you can cycle and play this game :)
