Xbox Live Will Be Down for Maintenance

All of you Xbox Live subscribers, take note. Microsoft is bringing down the online network for approximately four hours on Monday, September 10th, starting at 2:01AM PDT.

Hopefully this won’t be the end of the world for most people as well, there’s such a thing as sleep (so I hear anyway). But, there will be the hardcore bunch who will need to vent out the frustrations of being without Xbox Live for four hours. Don’t worry, I know your pain every Tuesday when WoW goes down.

There’s no definitive word on what Microsoft plans to be doing to the Xbox Live network during this black out period. Perhaps we don’t want to know. But it’s most likely that the maintenance is in preparation for Halo 3.
