Xihuw Artificial Reef Made from 737

Xihuw-737-ReefOff the coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia is a new artificial reef called the Xihuw Reef. What does this have to do with aviation? The reef is made from an old Air Canada 737. (Correction, Canadian Airlines. Thanks Mick!) The airplane is now under 88 feet of water so unless your boat sits real low in the water passing over the 41 foot tail shouldn’t be a problem. The area is expected to become a tourist attraction for divers and a home for marine life.
