Yahoo! Sports Ahab-like zeal was on display once again, as they reported that Don Yaeger and Jim Henry will be publishing a book that goes into sordid detail about Reggie Bush’s improper benefits at USC.
Nearly two years after Reggie Bush won the Heisman Trophy, a book detailing improper benefits he allegedly received while playing for the University of Southern California and his relationship with the financiers of a fledgling sports marketing company could further damage his chances of keeping the most prestigious award in college sports.
No sight more sickening to Yahoo! Sports
Yahoo! Sports will not rest — will not rest! — until Reggie Bush loses his Heisman. Do you hear that, Reggie? Reggie! (Yahoo! Sports shakes fist angrily as Reggie Bush once again escapes their grasp)
And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn’t for those meddling kids!
The Bush thing was their “big splash” when they started dumping money into their sports coverage and bringing in real columnists. But now they are covering it a tad too in depth.
