Yahoo Updates Their Pay-Per-Inclusion Program

For those of you who didn’t know, Yahoo has a paid inclusion program (aside from the directory) which allows one’s pages to be crawled and listed almost instantaneously with a guaranteed re-crawl and listing update on a weekly basis. The program called Search Submit and runs $49 per url per year, with maximum of 5 urls allowed per domain.

Yahoo had updated this program this week renaming it from “Search Submit Express” to “Search Submit Basic” (which may suggest a new tier in the future), and added analytics information about included pages:

Easily track your performance.
Get essential performance reports that provide insights such as how many clicks your URLs have received and what their average ranks are in Yahoo! search results.

Just a note, that this does not guarantee ranking, nor special listings but only inclusion and constant crawls/updates. So, it can be a convenient tool for tracking traffic to specific pages and their ranking on Yahoo when clicked, which can also be integrated with conversion for a full blown picture of performance of individual pages and the value of certain visitors to your site.

Barry has a before-and-after images of this program.
