Yoga Can Help You Manage Your Money?

Yoga principles may help you develop a better personal finance philosophyMiki Saxon, over at Leadership Turn, brought a rather interesting article from US News & World Report to my attention. It’s about how yoga can help you manage you money. I like yoga. I do yoga everyday — even if it is just the Sun Salutation sequence in the morning. It centers me. And apparently it can help me center my personal finances.

This is an interesting article that makes some good points. This personal finance philosophy point was one I found especially truthful:

Successful money management isn’t necessarily about pinching pennies, she says, but about making sure spending habits are aligned with one’s values.

So often we forget that sometimes counting our money doesn’t really help. After all, without solid, individual spending priorities, and a personal finance philosophy to go with it, chances are we just count the money as it seeps away.
