You Can Tell A Lot About a Woman….

People say you can tell the a woman’s mood by the color of her nail polish.  You can tell my mood based on the kind of workout I do:

H.I.T Intervals: Stressed out.  Need to burn as much energy as humanly possible, but in the shortest amount of time.

Yoga: Overwhelmed- not to be confused with stressed. I’ve got too much going on and need to take some time just for myself. Instead of feeding off my pent up energy, I need to get rid of it.

Cardio: WAY too much time to kill.

A Trip to the Gym: Very motivated and feeling great

A DVD at Home: Low on gas money and/or not very motivated.  Need to get the workout in with little time and effort.

Cardio and Strength Training at Home: Feeling motivated, just don’t want/have time to get dressed, drive, or try and find my Ipod.

List Method: Gotta sneak it in or it’ll never get done.

Hahaha, I love it! I’m the same way, just with the way that I lift weights. Heavy weights = I’ve got something to prove that day/stressed. Lighter weights = I’m trying to make myself look as though I’m very mindful of my form, ergo, I know what I’m doing!!

    Thanks for the post!

    All the Best,

    Andrew R

    Ahaha, very true. Love this.

  3. Very funny! This works well for men too. I fit in the Cardio and Strength Training at Home category. Over the years, I build almost a full gym in my basement. Nothing beat not needing to wait for machine like the gym.

Hmmm… For me it’s either I do it, or I take the dog for a longer walk and pretend it’s good enough, or I sit on my butt and drink wine. I think it is more reflective of my level of laziness than my mood! Hahaha :-)

Yoga: when I’m feeling stiff and need to streeeetch out
    Cardio: feeling bloated
    Walk: feeling happy, slightly lazy
DVD: don’t have gym membership… but some DVDs are super hard and amazing!!!!!
    I loved reading your list! :) ps I don’t do nail poslish…. :)

    I love all the variety!

  7. So true! My addition would be “running in the rain: need to feel cooler than everyone else.” LOL.
