In today’s clip, Daniel Negreanu makes another difficult, but correct laydown. An interesting note to this video is his opponent starts taking the hand personally and becomes overly demonstrative when re-raising Daniel. Hindsight is 20-20, but I’m pretty sure I would have known someone verbalizing that type of reraise wouldn’t be bluffing. After telling Daniel to “eat some of this”, he then tries to talk through the options of what he could be doing. Its pretty easy to talk trash when you’re holding the river flush.
HoHo… very nice hand you caught there… I liked how Daniel had the balls to fold that hand even with the straight. Of course now as I look from outside I see that folding is the best move but sometimes I was caught in this kind of situations, of course not high stakes :), but I couldn’t fold, even if I knew that the other has the flush, I just couldn’t fold it … it’s a hard choice :)…
I mean Daniel proved once again that he really is one of the best players, if not the best.
