Your favorite ESPN Personality: Mike Greenberg

Earlier this month, there was a poll in the right sidebar of the blog asking: Who’s your favorite ESPN personality. And the winner was: Mike Greenberg. The Greeny of Mike and Mike in the Morning. The one who milked the cow in ‘07 after losing in the NCAA tourney pool to Golic.

If you don’t know who Mike “Greeny” Greenberg is, here’s a back story. A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He used to work for WMAQ-AM, WSCR-Radio and wrote a weekly column for the Copley News Service, working at SportsChannel Chicago and then CLTV before becoming an employee of ESPN.

Outside of sports he’s dabbled in acting (an appearance on Guiding Light) and is host of the game show Duel on ABC.
