It's really not to "insane" of an idea to be a brand manager for someone. Most people dont even know what personal branding is, let alone where to start creating theirs. If you had someone knowledgeable enough to help you out and keep track of it offline and online, I could see a real business model behind it. It's great to have a personal brand, but where the secret sauce MIGHT be is in how one integrates their personal brand into a community.
