Thats actually a good idea that your friend Eric brought up. It's really not to "insane" of an idea to be a brand manager for someone. Most people dont even know what personal branding is, let alone where to start creating theirs. If you had someone knowledgeable enough to help you out and keep track of it offline and online, I could see a real business model behind it. At http://www.Brand-Yourself.com we aim to establish a student’s personal brand early so they can get the job of their dreams and love what they do. By establishing an online presence to control what comes up in Google while staying true to their brand, they should have no problem getting the job they want and deserve. For more actionable tips to strengthen your personal brand on the web please go to our blog at http://blog.brand-yourself.com.

Thanks for the shout-out, Colleen. Know what my recent realization is? It's great to have a personal brand, but where the secret sauce MIGHT be is in how one integrates their personal brand into a community. Meaning, it's probably the community manager aspect of any personal brand that has the most value.

That's a recent thought waiting to become a post. What do you think?
