YouTube Adds Editing and Geotagging

After upgrading their embeddable player, YouTube rolls out a slew of updates to their site. Aside from some nifty interface tweaks, notable additions include geotagging with Google Maps and editing with Adobe Premiere Express.

Eyespot, Jumpcut and Photobucket have all offered online video editing for months, so YouTube’s playing catch-up in that area. Fortunately for YouTube, their huge market share and Google’s deep pockets allow them to bide their time and one-up their competitors.
