YouTube Partner Program Expands to North America

December 10, 2007 by Mike Abundo

As a market leader bankrolled by Google, YouTube really bides its time when rolling out new features. After slowly rolling out their revenue-sharing partner program to a select group of YouTube stars, they’ve now opened the program to applications from North America. You still need thousands of subscribers to get in, though. International rollouts planned soon.

If you’re in the US or Canada, now’s your chance to get that cool little partner banner to the right of your videos — and some YouTube cash to boot.
