Just one week after he fell apart during the final round at Quail Hollow, 2007 Masters champion, Zach Johnson sunk a 12-foot putt on the first playoff hole to beat James Driscoll and repeat as the Valero Texas Open champion.

Johnson shot a 70 today, good enough to force the playoff with Driscoll. Paul Goydos and Bill Haas tied for third place. Johnson, 33, vaulted to the top of the Fedex Cup list with this win, his second of the season.
Johnson joined the PGA Tour in 2004. Today’s win is his sixth PGA Tour win. He also won the Sony Open in Hawaii earlier this season.
Johnson is married and has a young son. The Johnsons live in Lake Mary, Florida, outside of Orlando.
