Have you ever wondered who is Googling you? Could you use that information to better target your marketing and branding efforts? Thanks to Ziggs.com, you just might be able to find out who is searching for you online.
Ziggs is a social networking site on steroids. Rather than just giving people an opportunity to connect and network, with Ziggs, you can actually see who is searching for you. Users get an email when someone searches for their name on Google or looks at their profile on Ziggs. Users can’t see the name of the person who searched for them, but they can see where that person is located, what time the search was conducted and what keywords that person used in the search.
Imagine the potential for brands to develop targeted marketing campaigns to people who have already expressed interest using Ziggs.
Users can upgrade from a free account to a paid account. For $4.95 per month, Ziggs will move paying users’ names up in Google and Yahoo search results. I’m not sure how they do that though as the Ziggs.com is currently inaccessible (I’m sure because there is a lot of buzz about it today and it’s getting a flood of traffic).
What do you think? Is technology like Ziggs purports to provide the next great phase of the social web for marketers to leverage or is this a short-term fad that won’t truly amount to increased ROI? Leave a comment and share your opinion on Ziggs.com.

I am sold on Ziggs. What a wonderful service and free at that. Find my profile on Ziggs.com or Google Roy Propsner. Visit two of my business websites:
1. http://www.abasicservice.com
2. http://www.ridesimulator.com.
Ziggs.com is a networking website where you may find other business people, professionals and also ask questions. They even notify you with an Alert when someone views your profile. Ziggs will notify you. A flag will appear on your map. I like Ziggs service. I started with the free issue and then as it was great idea, I subscribed to ZiggsWebPro. Speaking of Alerts. I know this is Halloween and all, but just a moment ago, I received an Alert. When I looked for the source, the Alert Flag and map led me to Los Angeles, the middle of the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery. No kidding. I kid you not. This is not April fools. Look. Look at my map if you think I am pulling your leg. LOL
Update: I am barely a member of Ziggs community for one week. Shortly after joining the free page, I subscribed to Ziggs WebPro. Today, my name is at the top of page two (2) of Yahoo Search Engine. I am well pleased and recommend Ziggs.com
I have done alot of research and found that Ziggs is a great tool but only tells you who is searching for you on google and only tells you the state the searcher lives in, NOT the name. I tried a bunch of different websites and most did the same the only one I found that gives you the persons name was http://people411search.com It said that 6 people have searched for me in the past month.
