“Reverb” Solar-Powered iPhone Dock Is Huge

Have you seen the Reverb solar-powered iPhone/iPod dock?  It’s massive!  Seriously, at three feet tall, this thing is really cool but it’s also a bit puzzling.  First of all, many of us like our iPods since they are relatively tiny but can store a lot of music.  They’re convenient.  When you attach it to something that is the size of a pre-schooler, it becomes a lot less practical, I would think. Still, there’s no price on being friendly to the environment, right?  Unfortunately, it takes a whole 20 hours outside/40 hours indoors of sun exposure to get this bad baby up to full charge.  The one thing that irks me about my iPod is that I can’t put some batteries into it to get it to work, I’ve got... [Read more]
