Boxer Manny Pacquiao and Mobile TV

Back here in the Philippines, SMART Telecommunications launched their mobile television service, with the highlight being the Pacquiao vs Solis fight. Manny Pacquiao is probalby the best known worldwide ambassador to the Philippines because of his boxing career. Quite frankly, anyone who makes it as an avatar to Fight Night 3 is definitely worth being immortalized.
Mobile TV is probably the next door technology that consumers and content providers are sure to exploit. I say exploit because in the area of content creation, there will always be prime moving elements in the realm of pornography (you really must admit), social networking and in this case, sports.
Of course the jump to this type of technology would entail a hardware upgrade on your end as well as adding some cash to a subscribed service (yes, no more $ per KB downloads).
I will post more about this in the next few days once I’ve gotten more details on the inner workings of mobile TV, the future of wireless video!

I am Maria Angelica S. Taguiam. Mother of baby Noah Jeremy Taguiam. Resident of Pasig City, Philippines. My son has imperforate anus. He was operated since birth, he had a colostomy and we are still waiting for his second operation and third operation. Due to lack of finance, I am asking for help to support my baby’s next operation this coming October 2009 and also his third operation which is the closing of his colostomy on January 2010 if the Doctor’s permits.
