For an affordable $19.00, you can turn your Nokia camera phone lens into a 6x zoom lens with this telescope attachment from Brando.
There’s one drawback however. The lens is incorporated into the rear case of the phone which means there’s quite a limited selection of phones with this lens: the Nokia 6230/6230i and the 6680 — what next? A zoom lens for the video conference cam?
An attachable telescope for your phone? While it is a cool idea, I don’t think it would be very practicle. The resolution on a camera phone simply wouldn’t enable it to be very efficient.
When phones become more advanced, then I might think about getting one, but until that time I may just have to sit back and wonder.

Hmm, brilliant idea, Time has past since the 6230 and 6680 have been released, and I think it would be high time for someone to make this attachemnt for the Nokia N93! I know it has already got 3x zoom, but another 2x on top of that wont hurt. Attaching additional lense will be easier than most, as it already has locking clip holes where the lense cap sits. Also it would be nice if it could be made to take any adapters like polariser, etc on standard thread.
