Brando W800i Music Dock and Speaker Cradle

Yowza! This Brando guy keeps on coming up with pretty ingenious products every now and then. His latest is the Brando Walkman music dock, which is actually a super ultra high tech version of the original W800i speaker cradle (shown below). Frankly, it reminds me of the iBall by Oregon Scientific for your iPod.
Brando’s product demo is really hilarious. There’s no secret technology to the W800i Speaker Cradle. It’s basically a radar dish that naturally magnifies the sound coming from the sole external speaker of the Walkman. You’ll actually get better results with a W550i because it has not one, not three – but two external speakers!
The primitive speaker magnification device sells for a mere $12.00 and proves to be more of a novelty than anything else – it’s sold out. On the other side of the fence, the Music Dock sells for $37.00. In my opinion, since you can use a 3.5mm cable, why not just get an entry level set of Creative or Altec Lansings?
Ah I know why. Because it’s such a novelty!
