Daniel Terdiman from CNET wrote about how he missed out on the geeky part of the Blue Man Group Concert by failing to respond to an SMS message which he thought was spam.

The Blue Man Group has incorporated an interactive portion to their concerts via mobile phone SMS messages. Utilizing a service called Mobkastr, the concert organizers could send timed SMS messages to people who have registered for the concert. In turn, participants could reply via keywords to take part in a SMS story that unfolds during the concert.

I don’t know what’s more challenging – painting your face blue or sending SMS while jumping around in a mosh pit.
