ePhoneNumbers: Choose your VANITY NUMBER

Back in the Philippines, we have a term for this: VANITY NUMBERS. And i guess there’s always a premium on vanity wherever you may be. ePhoneNumbers is a site dedicated to grabbing your custom phone number for a small fee. Their press release says:
The ability for ePhoneNumbers customers to choose brandable, memorable local phone numbers is a natural progression that has eluded consumers due to the monopolization of phone number assignments from phone companies. “Consumers deserve to choose specific phone numbers, not to be assigned a random number. Research shows consumers retain their phone number in excess of 7 years and they deserve the right to choose their number, similar to selecting their service provider,” states Michael Davis, Executive Vice President, Marketing. “Consumers no longer are forced to settle for the number assigned to them by their phone company, they are now, free to choose.”
