Had a fun weekend viewing Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Probably the most hilarious scene in the movie was when some baddie’s phone went off after he got majorly owned by Tifa in the orphanage.

No doubt, cos’ I own it and I’m living in Singapore.

Hey, i own a P900iv, i live in mexico and i can use here, i can make calls and everything, a company named iusacell unlocked the cellphone and it works preety well, but if i just have a little problem, i dont know if it plays MP3 and if it does how can i make it play mp3?

Well Kevin i dont of any company in te US that unlocks them but i remember they used some kind of decoder machine with cable connected to the cellphone and then they just inserted a VIM, the chip and that was it, it was preety fast, By the way do u know how to play mp3s on the p900iv?

and laxshadow on alota cell phones when they say mp3 they normally mean itunes music so if u have itunes at yer house and its actually on the phone u have a cord they give u 2 download it
HEY!! Yeah Laxshadow, how did they unlock your phone? Like I want one so bad but I also don’t want a phone I can’t use Lol. I’ve read the phone can be used on 3G networks. Cingular is a 3G network. Also I have Loz’s ringtone exactly as it is in the movie on my RAZR. I just ripped it straight from the movie itself. Its a AWESOME ring tone. But I am leaning towards buying it though.

Hey Mindy ans Steve and everyone, sorry for the late response i have been kinda busy and i forgot to chek my e-mails, well first of all iusacel haves many types of services, u can get a year contract or a monthly contract or a pre-paid card, and the way they got the cellphone working well i dont know that much really but they used this kinda decoder program with the computer and they inserted a SIM chip and they changed it into a VIM chip and guess that was it and Steve i got loz`s ringtone in mp3 and it aint a rip so if u want it i can pass it to you, any more questions im open for answers, oh and by the way i cant get that mp3 stuff right for the cellphone so if somebody got more ideas that can help`id apreciate it

Did yours come with Final Fantasy and Before Crisis? I hope mine does. I believe all of them come with it from what I’ve read. I am gonna talk with cingular and see if they can unlock my phone. They offered to do this with mmy nokia phone if i wanted for $36.00. But I wanted the RAZR and that is my current phone. Hopefully they can.

Hey mindy, well they unlocked the cellphone for iusacell only but i guess that since they already changed the configuration it might be easy for other companies to make it work, and your idea of sending the phone here to mexico and sending it back to you i guess its possible

I think it’s all standard.
Since i can’t use the phone in singapore, i used it to be my “camera”..
And to do some pranks to some shop..
Switch off their TV and turn on the volume louder etc..
Works fine for PRANKS, no one even notices.. They all thought it’s Ghost..

Final Fantasy Cloud Phone is NOT avaliable in Singpore. When i brought the phone to as Panasonic company to ask them to unlock, the staff don’t even know what the model is..

Yup, I use the p900iv to play around with TV sets in store or Mac’Donald..
=p
It’s basically, a remote control software installed in the phone.
You must set the type of TV set and the brand of the TV first.
Provided if you know how to read some Japanese words, else you won’t be able to set it.
And you must know what brand of TV you’re gonna use prank on.

Hahaha, how lame. Anyways there’s only two phones on ebay right now. Which is kinda cheap, i’ll report back if I can find a third party site that sells these phones. That would rock, c’mon babblefish! (Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy joke)
It actully modeled after the DoCoMo phone. Panasonic made a later one. And its not that Samsung phone with the flip and twisting screen because the P900iV has a video camera on the side and the Samsung doesnt.
And about the storyline. It takes place 2 years after the game, not after the 400 w/e years. Use your brains.
Ok, here’s what you do. Please read this because i think it will open your eyes.

Hey everyone, sorry for the late response but i have good news, it seems that it is possible to make your p900iv work in USA, heres how it goes, my friends told me that since the p900 is a high band they have to make a lower band since is the one we use in mexico and the same in USA,they can make it a low band and in USA the only thing they have to do is install a chip from whatever company you want and thats it. Ok
So….laxshadow…we just buy the cellphone, take it to cingular/bluegrass/verizon/etc. and ask them to install a chip to make it low band? sounds good but will it work? >_
