First Impressions Sony Ericsson k600i

The k600i is one of SE’s latter additions to the 3G line of phones. There’s nothing groundbreaking about the unit in terms of features and specs – you get the standard SE user interface, the 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth and a secondary camera to justify it’s 3G roots.
Yeah it’s so-so, especially at the price of roughly US $500.00.
There’s just one more thing though – when I actually got to hold it (a friend of mine has one and showed it to me this evening), I couldn’t believe how firm and compact it was to the grip. I’d describe the unit to be more cylindrical than candybarish, adding a dose of sleek to the already familiar brick grip. Thus, the k600i takes the cake for being the new manly phone of 2006. It looks and feels metro.
I’m really loving mine.
