HTC Hero and Sense UI

The Sense UI is brilliant. This is HTC’s gamechanger for the Android platform. It integrates well into Android by providing aesthetically pleasing multi-touch functions (rivals the iPhone) and brings in a new widget based paradigm for functions such as the contact list. The “People” function replaces the address book, and the Hero builds in plugins such as Facebook photos, Twitter accounts and even Google Maps to locate your home address. So if you take a look into John Doe’s profile, you get more than his email and contact number. Flickr, Twitter, Facebook feeds — you name it.

The HTC Hero is also one of the first devices to use teflon as its real estate covering. Say goodbye to aluminum and plastic ladies and gents. Teflon is the future.
