iPhone Now Has Solar Panels // The future of pushing it with gadgets

Nokia’s developing a Zero Waste charger. Gave away a solar powered accessory last week. And now Apple’s turning the iPhone green as well, with solar panels. Yep, call it pressure or part of a bigger corporate vision, but the iPhone is in tweaks to receive a solar charge.
Call it a hybrid of sorts, because the new iPhone in the works (highly doubt it is this one that’s coming in June) will also have a standard lithium ion pack as a backup battery.
My brazened prediction: the future holds a boundless source of solar energy for portable devices. This actually won’t just be because of a function on going environmentally safe, but more so because of new kick ass features that would literally bump off standard battery to a halt. A seemingly limitless battery to run high demand features is very possible.

This really is cool, it’s about time, my battery has already died. Now I can just leave it out in the sun.
