You know how it goes – dialing a help line with an easy to remember last four digits was always the way to great customer service. In fact, those with special mobile phone numbers get to customize their vanity numbers to match their name.

This used to work – on a standard numeric keypad. But with the advent of grafitti, thumbpads and those new Blackberry QWERTY keypads that have two letters per button, typing out those easy to remember numbers will start to be a hassle.
Because the numbers and letters are now mixed up, you’d have to do some abstract reasoning to get the job done. So think twice about vanity numbers, or at least pattern them to be easy to remember by number – not the letter.

i remember one guiness video, when one guy typed 1000 words for 1 min. It was amazing.
