Keeper

According to the guys at Callpod, there is currently no technology for the iPhone that provides full security and encryption when you sync data to the PC or Macintosh. Thus the need for Keeper, an app so secure, it comes with military grade encryption that keeps your passwords and synced data too secure to handle.

Currently, Keeper sells for $0.99 at the iTunes store and is compatible with both iPod touch and iPhone. You can download the application here.

Oh and we weren’t kidding about the self-destruct mode.

  1. Placebo Biscuit says:

WARNING: Keeper’s self-destruct option says that if you enter the wrong password five times, it will erase your data. Sounds good.

But what they don’t tell you is, that’s five times EVER.
Not five times in a row.
    Five times total.
    Ever.

No matter if you entered the right password hundreds of times in the mean time, the fifth typo means your data is gone.

Aside from this horrendous nightmare of a problem, the software seems to be pretty good, but this one is a deal breaker. Steer clear of this feature.
