More Thoughts on the HTC Touch

Here are some afterthoughts about the HTC Touch and the iPhone hype
- The iPhone will have to reinvent itself soon as a lot of other tech companies are saturating the market with these touch-enabled phones
- Not that Apple will be “just another player” but the competitiveness of other phone companies will shine if Apple doesn’t try to improve several other features on the iPhone. The Touch’s UI make it easy to do one hand acrobatics
- The iPhone is still a champion when it comes to making an integrated keypad work
- $600 is still the price for an innovative smartphone

Spot on! I just got my Touch, whacked on the “SlideME” function (which gives it the cool iphone bg and slider), iContacts (which lets me slip and slide through the contacts list) and Yoober (well, its a beta version, but its pretty darn cool - lets me have a sexy texting interface, and free text messaging!) and i have the best of the iphone right on my smartphone.
I think the silliest thing about iPhone is the no Java support! Some of the best innovations come from small developers, so Apple better have a mighty good product and feature roadmap to keep the iPhone attractive once the initial novelty wears off!
P.S. You can get all the iPhone widgets at http://www.htcwiki.com and http://www.yoober.com
hiya! does HTC Touch have 3G?:)
Really it’s amazing phone, best thing is we can operate HTC touch through fingers.
