Nokia E65: Now comes with WiFi

Nokia has rebranded the ever popular 6280 sliding real estate and added 802.11b WiFi connectivity.
I’ve always wondered how much it would cost a company to add additional features to phones. I remember writing before about how adding a Bluetooth module on a phone would cost roughly an additional one dollar. Can the same be said with WiFi? I guess so. With the way they mass produce these things, as well as with the way tech is getting more affordable, it does make sense to just include every possible feature conceived by man into mobile phones.
Ah. But that would kill the business model wouldn’t it? The E65 hinges on one of the better designed models of Nokia. “let’s turn this thing into a business phone” they said, by adding the “E” and wireless Internet.
You can view the full specs of the E65 here.

No offense, but the E65 is nothing like the 6280, apart from them both being slider phones. The E65 has a totally different design, totally different technical specifications, and is an S60-based smartphone. I do hope you were being sarcastic when you said that, and if you were, I do apologize.
brad, i was merely referring to the actual real estate design and not features. they are very different.
I agree with Brad. The Nokia 6280 is different to the E65, both in design and operating system layouts. The E65 has many more USEFUL features that the 6280, and even if the 6280 did have more useful features, it all comes down to ease of use, which the E65 presents very extremely well. Well at least better than the Nokia 6288.
