Nokia N76: Nokia does a Walkman Phone?

Nokia has announced their clamshell music phone, better known as the N76: Nokia decided to rely on Windows Media Player DRM – a bad move when it comes to cellphones. Remember that Microsoft DRM is one of the deadliest copyrights ever. With the Zune, anything you put inside gets copyrighted. Does this mean that you can’t beam ringtones from your phone to other units? Well, I’m sure Nokia isn’t that dumb so that would be an unlikely (yet saddening) scenario.

The N76 also comes with a 3.5mm jack, a 2MP camera and memory expansion up to 2GB.

Thanks Colbert.
