Hey hey hey, The Unwired has posted some info on the new XDA Atom that a lot of people have been anticipating. Why so? Well, aside from built in WLAN, the Atom isn’t made by our favorite OEMer HTC – but by Quanta which means that this could be an exclusive O2 device and not one of those various nomenclature iterations from Siemens.
It took a little bit longer but finally the O2 Xda Atom appeared on O2 Asia’s website. If you are not familiar with the Atom, it’s an exclusive O2 Pocket PC Phone Editon with Windows Mobile 5.0 and features W-LAN as well as a FM radio, it’s tri-band (GSM, GPRS and EDGE) also and includes Bluetooth.
Unlike current Xda’s, the Xda Atom features a 2 megapixel camera and is working with a 416 MHz Intel CPU and 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM.
