Pharos IV: Assault Simulates Awesomeness

Reminiscent of my Wing Commander days, I haven’t come across a really good space simulation game, save for the time Freelancer came out for the PC. Although it was more of a space shoot em up brought in by Microsoft, it made me miss simulator based games.
And who would have known that Plasq would quell these geeky desires. Known for their popular Comic Life and Skitch apps for OS X, they pulled this one out of the hat thus proving that they can make kick ass games as well for the iPhone and iPod touch. Pharos IV: Assault is stunning. You have but to see a brief preview of the game to appreciate it. And hey — although there’s a lite version, why not buy it for 0.99 cents?
You need to be upgraded to the latest firmware to run this though.
