S60 Ambassador Program

More than advertising and events, the concept of word of mouth is well, spreading. The power of word of mouth have been around for the longest time as key influencers in today’s decision making process. Have you ever made a buying decision based on someone’s advice? Sure you have. That’s the power of suggestion.

Nokia has something interesting going. Oh wait, it really isn’t Nokia per se, but the S60 group. The Nokia S60 Ambassadors Program is a word of mouth project that brings together the most passionate S60 users and developers, building a huge evangelist community for S60.

The coolest thing about the ambassador program is that it’s completely free to join. New ambassadors earn points based on tasks they need to complete and accomplishing them means sending a debrief form back to the S60 program. Very interesting. Check it out now — note that you don’t need a Nokia phone to use this service. There are several other phones running on S60 including Samsung and LG!
