Samsung has been promoting the idea of cellphone oriented films. I really never understood what that meant until I watched a few of them. Think Colin Farell in Phonebooth but this time the plot gets accelerated because of mobile phone communication between parties.
The vids leave a sense of suspense and mystery – the mere fact that the guy on the other line could be anywhere makes things a lot more exciting.
The films are reminiscent of Kiefer Sutherland’s 24 that will leave you with a “Whooooaadaddy!” at the end of each film.
