How do you say OVI? More than half the people don’t know what it is and unless you’re from Finland, you won’t know how to pronounce it. This works on two levels for Nokia either they have a really great viral campaign or the 5th most valued brand in the world has a hard time getting a new brand out (I guess this is how ‘Nokia’ overshadows ‘Ovi’).
What a great viral campaign, finding out what Ovi actually means. The word ‘Ovi’ means ‘door’ in reference to Nokia’s doorway of services which includes Comes with Music, N-Gage, Maps, Mail, Contacts Sync, Photos and Videos, and the Ovi App Store.
